Peace Hill CC’s Annual Historical End of the Year Event: 1900’s Decades Party
Every year at Peace Hill, we have an annual end of the year event based on the historical era we learned about during the year! Since this year is the Modern Era, we are having a 1900’s Decades Party for the entire Peace Hill community to enjoy. Included will be entertainment, activities, crafts, food and decor featuring decade from the 1900s, and costumes are encouraged! This is a family event, so parents, siblings, even grandparents are all invited! Please check with your class mom about how you and your family can help out with this event.
This event will also feature our 2nd annual marketplace where students will be able to sell items they make related to the theme (totally optional, of course)! Macrame keychains from the 70s? I'll buy one! Grandma's favorite cookies? Check! This was a blast last year, and it was so exciting to see all that the students came up with! Encourage your students to start brainstorming and creating items now while they have plenty of time!

Decade for each Grade:
1920’s for 1st Grade, 1940’s for Kindergarten, 1950’s for 9th-12th Grade, 1960’s for 4th Grade,
1970’s for 5th-6th Grade, 1980’s for 2nd-3rd Grade, & 1990’s for 7th-8th Grade
