Adventures in Alphabetoo Curriculum
An original Language Arts curriculum by one of our Kinder Teachers, Cindy Penderghast. Adventures in Alphabetoo is an educational series set in the hidden jungle of Alphabetoo with Andy Ape and all his crew. It teaches the 42 elemental sounds of the English language and the 71 phonograms we use to represent these sounds, using engaging stories, animated videos, fun songs, articulating puppets and mnemonic poems. Students learn all the sounds of the Alphabet side by side with Andy Ape, and learn penmanship with Panda Pete. Then, with each new phonogram, children embark on a new adventure with loveable characters from Alphabetoo; learning spelling, reading, writing, grammar, syntax, and comprehension skills as they sing, dance and play along the way.
